Lil Wheel Watcher #2

Cousin Natalie made the Wheel of Fortune look like so much fun, that we decided to check it out for ourselves. Two slobbery thumbs up!

Saturday at home

We decided that it was time for a big boy car seat - the infant carrier seemed too uncomfortable for Matthew. It took about an hour to get each seat set up, but Matthew seems to be happy with the results.

Umm, we really hope that gesture is not aimed at Mama's Steelers t-shirt!

So Sleepy

Here is Matthew enjoying his morning nap. A usual day starts at 7, followed by fruit with cereal and later a bottle. Then it's normally time for a nap to get ready for the rest of the day. He looks so peaceful here, but he didn't stay that way for very long!

Jumpy Jumpy Jumperoo!

Whoever invented the Jumperoo was a genius! Matthew loves bouncing in his until he wears himself out and is ready for a loooong nap.

A fun and busy weekend

This weekend was busy, but a lot of fun too. We started off with the State Fair on Friday morning. Daddy and Matthew really liked the tractors, but Mama and big brother Nick were more interested in the food on a stick!


We picked up Grandma Ginny after the fair and went home to play (we're still not sure what was so interesting up in the window!)

On Saturday night, Mama and Nick went to see the Vikings / Steeler's game. Everyone was happy when the Steeler's pulled out a win with 4 seconds remaining!

Sunday morning was the baptism ceremony (the actual baptism was done at the hospital) and then everyone came over for a barbeque lunch. Nick is Matthew's godfather and Aunt Christine is the godmother.

Phew!!! By Sunday night, we were all tired and ready for sleep!

Rattles are so much fun!

Matthew is starting to play and can really keep himself (and us) entertained. Who knew that a little rattle could be so much fun?

At the beginning of August, Matthew has his 4-month check up and was over 16 lbs! He's a big boy and is eating everything in sight - pears and squash are his favorites, but he's not very picky.

We were all happy when Nick came home from 3 weeks in Pennsylvania, but Matthew was even more excited - he did a little dance just for his big brother! Now we're waiting patiently from Grandma Ginny to come see us next week for the baptism party.

Giggling with Daddy

It took a while for me to get this movie online (it was pretty long to start with) but it was too funny for me to ignore. Hope it makes you giggle too!

Ducks and Bumbo chairs

There was a little carnival at the grocery store and Matthew really liked looking at the clown, so she drew a little duck on his cheek :) He kept his eyes on her the whole time - just in case she tried anything funny
